The Mirage Casino set to permanently close in July

This summer marks the closure of an era for the venerable Mirage hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip, which is recognized for having contributed to the development of Sin City into an ultra-luxury resort destination.

With a hotel tower shaped like a guitar that rises nearly 700 feet above the center of the Strip, the 80-acre property is set to reopen as the Hard Rock Las Vegas in 2027. The closure on July 17 will make room for significant construction and renovations.
