The National Lottery has awarded £91,280 to the Blitz Kids project.

A project called Sheffield Blitz 85th received a big grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to remember the last generation who survived the devastating German bombings in Sheffield during World War II.

The project aims to collect memories of people who were kids during the bombings. It will include recording interviews, making a new book, and organizing community activities.

The goal is to honor this important part of the city's history.
