The National Lottery reveals $200m funding to boost local economies

Across the UK, towns and cities will be improved as part of a 10-year project planned by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. With another 11 to be announced, the recently launched Heritage Places initiative has identified nine locations that will receive targeted support.

This initiative aims to allocate £200 million by 2033 to 20 long-term projects that will transform primarily urban landscapes. The Heritage Fund's Heritage 2033 strategy, which was unveiled earlier this year, is in line with the Heritage Places initiative.
