Why does it often seem the player hand wins more in Baccarat than the banker hand when the house has the mathematical advantage? While statistically the banker hand has a 1.06% edge over the long run, in practice I often see streaks where the player hand dominates. Is this because many gamblers tend to bet on the player hand, thus skewing the apparent results? Or could there be unintended factors that actually favor the player hand slightly in some casinos? I'm curious to hear others' thoughts and experiences.
