Drawing dead in poker means that you have a hand that cannot win against an opponent's hand, even if it improves. For example, if one player has A Q and another has K 9, the player with A Q is drawing dead because any card they draw will not give them a better hand than the K 9. This means that they have a 0% chance of winning the pot, no matter what, regardless of what cards are drawn by the dealer.
