Playing poker requires patience and good psychology. Understanding your opponents' thoughts and behavior helps you make better decisions. Some players unintentionally reveal information through subtle cues called "tells". Others work hard to maintain a "poker face" that hides their emotions and intentions. To become a winning player, you must carefully observe opponents for unconscious signals like fidgeting, eye movements and voice tone. However, trying to read others is difficult and unreliable. Focus instead on improving your own skills, game strategy and money management. With enough practice, discipline and experience, you can win more hands through your own skills rather than attempting to interpret the "tells" of your opponents.
