The Racket wins William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award

The 36th William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award went to "The Racket," an honest account of an Irish tennis professional's life on the ATP Tour.

The Racket is the first tennis book to win the most prestigious and long-running literary sportswriting award in history.

In addition to discussing the difficulties of match-fixing and doping in tennis, The Racket is an underdog tale that includes humorous anecdotes from his seven years of traveling.
