The Revere Plus-Minus count is a card counting strategy used in Blackjack, created by Lawrence Revere. In this system, cards are assigned a value of +1 or -1 depending on their rank. Cards 2 through 6 are assigned a value of +1, cards 7 through 9 are assigned a value of 0, and cards 10 through Ace are assigned a value of -1. The idea behind the Revere Plus-Minus count is to keep track of the running total of the count, and bet higher when the count is positive and lower when the count is negative. This allows the player to adjust their bets based on the count to gain an advantage over the house.
