The Star Entertainment Group has disclosed a tentative deal with the Treasurer of New South Wales (NSW) to modify its obligation agreements with the state. The Star has consistently argued that the former Treasurer's proposed tariff increase was unworkable and had poor design. It would have posed a major threat to the operations of The Star Sydney's finances if carried out as planned, putting the jobs of numerous NSW team members in danger.
