Ben Haden, the Director of Research and Statistics at the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC), has elaborated on two initiatives aimed at examining how to enhance the utilization of operational information to address the lack of understanding regarding gambling and gamblers in the United Kingdom. In a blog post, Haden emphasized that consultations with more than 120 stakeholders in March, combined with the Evidence Gaps and Priorities 2023 to 2026 report published in May, as well as the government's white paper, have all played a crucial role in identifying the potential for leveraging operational data to drive positive changes.
