The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has announced the introduction of the fourth survey for trainers and stable staff. The main aim is to identify challenges faced within the yards and assist the Industry People Board in developing a strategic plan to address them. This survey has been commissioned by the Industry People Board in collaboration with the BHA, the National Trainers Federation (NTF), and the National Association of Racing Staff (NARS).
Public Perspectives, an independent research organization, will be responsible for reaching out to trainers and staff across Britain in the upcoming days. It is worth noting that this is the fourth time such a survey has been initiated, with previous surveys conducted in 2016, 2018, and 2021.
The BHA further mentioned that this study will not only highlight important issues but also enable the organization to gauge the progress of significant initiatives funded by the Racing Foundation. These initiatives aim to support the recruitment of stable staff, enhance the skills of those working within the racing sector, and promote staff retention.
