The University of Nevada conducts new research on problem gambling

With data provided by Sightline Payments, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas International Gaming Institute (IGI) has published fresh studies on problem gambling. The information, which included nearly 100 million unique transactions from more than a year's worth of activity, was collected from gambling payment companies. The regularity, quantity, extent, and fluctuations of transactions were some of the factors considered in the analysis of the payment behavior. The study also examined when the payments were made and how frequently they were rejected. This transactional information could be categorized by IGI researchers into three different types of risky payment behavior.
