The UNLV IGI appoints Brett Abarbanel as executive director.
The UNLV International Gaming Institute's Executive Director has been named as Brett Abarbanel (IGI).
Bo Bernhard, who will transition to work full-time as UNLV's vice president for economic development, will be replaced by Abarbanel. Bernhard will continue to be associated with IGI as the executive director's special advisor.
She formerly served as the Executive Director of IGI and has gaming, esports, and traditional sports betting experience.
In addition, Abarbanel has almost two decades of expertise in gaming operations, technology, ethical gaming, and community outreach.
