The Uthgra Sasso Casino in Mar del Plata has been indefinitely closed due to unpaid wages for security personnel, an obligation of the Buenos Aires Province Lottery and Casinos Institute. Despite efforts by the casino to cover these payments, the lack of response from the Institute led to the shutdown. Around 30 workers will be reassigned between the hotel and the Central Casino as a resolution is sought.
