Thirty-two suspects arrested for illegal gambling activities in Singapore

Following an operation from May 2 to May 10, 32 persons are the subject of a police investigation for engaging in illicit gambling.

On May 17, the police announced that they had frozen over ten bank accounts that they suspected were being used to support illicit gambling. These accounts were frozen by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department.

The age range of the 32 individuals is 18 to 70. On May 3 and May 6, two of them are scheduled to appear in court on charges of using an illegal gambling service provider. There are court cases for other offenses that are still pending.
