Three people have been taken into custody in Birmingham by the Gambling Commission and West Midlands Police in relation to alleged match-fixing activities involving a boxing match from the previous year.
A 23-year-old man was arrested in Longbridge, and two suspects—a 54-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man—were arrested in Kings Norton.
The Gambling Act, which particularly addresses cheating in gambling-related activities, charges all three.
