three residents of Michigan cited for unlawful operating a casino

Following a combined inquiry by the Department of Attorney General as well as the Betting Control Board, three have been convicted in Michigan for their involvement in managing an unlawful gambling enterprise.
In the most recent similar such action brought in the area, the inhabitants of the state individually entered guilty pleas for their roles in the activity at the now-closed Fortune Cafe.
All gambling-related funds and other proof, comprising $3,022 in cash but also gift cards, 32 slot-style betting machines, and two independent slot-style gaming machines, were ordered surrendered to the state.
