To protect those under 18 from gambling, the National Lottery has eliminated two games.

Due to new regulations intended to shield youngsters from gambling advertising, the operator of the National Lottery has deleted online versions of Monopoly and Scrabble from its website.
The Committee for Advertising Practice (CAP) put rules in place to prevent popular aspects of youth culture, such sports and video games, from being exploited in gambling advertisements.
This means that they won't be able to mention or use images of elite football players, famous people, stars of reality TV, or video games with a significant under-18 audience.

That's good initiative. Kudos to the operators of National Lottery for taking this steps that will forestall young people from participating in gambling. This is a kind of steps expected from California instead of banning betting in the state.

Nowadays things are changing from how it used to be during the olden days. Now they are protecting people under 18 whereas before, people under are not allow to participate in any form of gambling before.

Yes people under 18 are not allowed to participate, but that was when casinos are under control of regulatory authorities. But now they most of them are online, who can control the patrons?.

It a good step being taking my the by the national lottery leaders, it will mentain good and standard way of gambling in the country or state

This is a good initiative. To be honest,.most underage people play bet because they don't have the power to resist the urge when it comes.

Yes it is good. But the implications of this is only realistic on physical casinos and not on online casinos. There is no way age of players could be detected on online casinos. Similarly, how do you regulate the activities of unregistered online casinos?.
