Top charities share bumper donations from bookmakers in Britannia Stakes horse race

Leading British bookies have donated profits from the main Britannia Stakes race at Royal Ascot to a number of prestigious UK charities, providing them with much-needed funding. Following Callum Rodriguez's victory on Mickley last Thursday, a portion of £262,284 will now be donated to Prostate Cancer UK, Ascot Racecourse Supports, Missing People, Heroes, GoRacingGreen, and the Churchill Lines Foundation.

The Betting & Gaming Council has been holding its Britannia Stakes charity race for five years, and because of its members, it has raised over £3 million for numerous charities.
