The Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania recently overturned a €15,000 fine imposed on betting company TopSport LT for allegedly accepting remote bets from overseas clients. The fine had been issued by Lithuania's Gaming Control Authority after anonymous complaints led to an investigation last year. During the probe, it was found that a customer from Riga, Latvia, had their account blocked and winnings canceled by TopSport. The court’s decision effectively nullifies the penalty, marking a significant legal outcome for TopSport regarding cross-border wagering practices in Lithuania.
