After targeting the elderly man in his own home with two others, a masked man ambushed him and used his stolen bank card at a bookmakers. Convinced that the victim possessed £1,000, the three of them broke into the southside property. The elderly man's apartment was broken into, and all that was taken were his bank cards and £30 on their way to the local betting centre.
