Two men arrested for stealing $100,000 from Cyprus casino

On Tuesday, police in the north announced the apprehension of two men who had embezzled more than $100,000 from the casino in Cyprus where they were employed.

Between July 2022 and March of this year, the two, ages 46 and 36, allegedly sent the casino a long list of falsified invoices, stealing $101,089 from it. As of right now, 228 such invoices are known to the police.

The two were paid in cash after the invoices were processed.

Along with the two men who worked at the casino, a 39-year-old woman who was thought to be related to the case was also taken into custody.

They continue to look into the situation.
