UAE establishes a gaming regulator, possibly opening the door for casinos

The United Arab Emirates has created a centralized organization to oversee the gaming sector, which could potentially open doors to the legitimization of betting in the Gulf nation. According to state media, the recently established authority aims to introduce a cutting-edge regulatory structure for a nationwide lottery and business-based gambling. This development follows closely after Wynn Resorts announced its anticipation of acquiring a license in the near future for its $3.9 billion gaming destination under construction in the UAE.
