The Betting and Gaming Council, in collaboration with various sports bodies, created the "Codes of Conduct for Gambling-Related Agreements" framework, with each body creating a code specific to its sport. Leading the way, key football and horseracing bodies in the United Kingdom released codes of conduct last month. This new framework establishes higher standards for safer gambling sponsorships, with the goal of protecting vulnerable individuals, preserving sporting integrity, and ensuring that gambling sponsorship revenues are reinvested in the sport.
