UK Gambling Commission expect movement from casino operators in relation to new code

In response to the recently established Industry Voluntary Code on Customer Checks, the CEO of the Gambling Commission predicts a range of actions from UK operators.

The Betting and Gaming Council announced the launch of the new interim code, created in collaboration with the Commission, on Wednesday along with the confirmation of a pilot program of more thorough financial risk checks on higher-spending players.

Customers who want to make net deposits of more than £5,000 in a rolling month or more than £25,000 in any rolling 12-month period must interact with the casino operator in accordance with the voluntary code.

This is good for the industry because such high spending from the players can be definitely illegal if it is coming from that sort of sources and their for the investigation must be done on the players which are using high amount of deposit for their gambling activities when playing on any betting platform indeed
