UK Gambling Commission to proceed with pilot test on customer affordability checks

The UK Gambling Commission has declared that it will move forward with the next stages of requiring remote gambling operators to submit to affordability checks.

Any gambling account that loses more than £1,000 in a single rolling day or £2,000 in a single 90-day period will be subject to a higher level of inspection. The Commission approved a review to determine whether the 18 to 24 age group should have lower triggers for enhanced assessments.
