A 17-year-old boy who was not identified was placed under arrest by Walsall, England authorities on suspicion of being involved in the massive cyberattack that affected MGM Resorts the previous year.
The suspect was captured last week thanks to the cooperation of local authorities, the FBI, and the British National Crime Agency.
Following his release on bond, the suspect is being prosecuted for allegedly breaking the Computer Misuse Act and the Blackmail Act.
