The UK Gambling Commission has taken the first steps in assembling a fresh Industry Forum by seeking out individuals to join its ranks. Comprised of professionals who have hands-on experience in the UK gambling industry, this Forum aims to offer the Commission enhanced perspectives on the opinions and thoughts of licensed operators. As part of its ongoing efforts to expand the scope of input received from stakeholders, the UKGC is actively engaging with various special advisory groups.

Only time will tell if this forum is constructive or a way for big players to push their agenda. As an outsider, it's hard to say if the commission will listen more to public health advocates or business concerns.
