Slot machine revenue, which remains the largest segment, was $3.13 billion for July 2023 up 3% compared to July 2022. Table games followed with revenue of $976.3 million, a 2% increase year-over-year.
Sports betting saw significant growth of 28% driven by new offerings in states like Massachusetts and Ohio. Online or iGaming revenue rose 23% to $481.5 million as more options became available to players.
While slots and table games continue to dominate commercially, other forms of gambling like sports betting and iGaming are expanding across the United States bringing greater revenue.
