A Center of Excellence in Gambling Research has been established at the University of Sydney, which will enable live trials to examine the outcomes of gambling therapies.
The International Center for Responsible Gaming contributed $600,000 toward the establishment of the organization. Entain Australia, the University of Sydney Brain and Mind Center, and the Australian Research Council Life Course Centre all provided further support.
