US casinos temporarily shut down amidst Hurricane Francine crisis

Hurricane Francine, a Category 2 hurricane that made landfall earlier this week, affected businesses in a number of states along the US Gulf Coast. Several casinos in Mississippi and Louisiana were temporarily closed due to the severe weather.

The hurricane made landfall on Louisiana's coast on Wednesday night, with winds as high as 100 mph. As the hurricane approached Mississippi, the National Hurricane Center declared it to be a downgrade. The storm is positioned in satellite photos that the Center released.
