US casinos won $66.5billion in 2023 marking record revenue year

The greatest year ever for the commercial casinos in America was 2023, bringing in $66.5 billion from wagerers, according to data released on Tuesday by the national trade association for the sector.

According to the American Gaming Association, that sum was 10% more than in 2022—a record-breaking year in and of itself.

All of that occurred during a year in which, despite declining, inflation kept prices for goods like groceries and energy higher than they had previously been.
