US State Department issues warning concerning Asian casinos

Travelers are being cautioned by the US Department of State that tracing people down at casinos is becoming more common in Asia. Online casino platforms based in Asia have been found to be increasingly involved in cyber frauds and the online recruitment of vulnerable people for forced labor, according to the US' top foreign policy organization that works to safeguard the interests and security of American citizens. The government claims that a rise in human trafficking activity followed the COVID-19 pandemic.
