How much do outs really matter when calculating your hourly win rate at the card tables? While outs can offer a general guide to the probability of improving your hand on the next card, other factors seem more influential in determining a pro's hourly profit. Skill, positioning, reading other players, and managing bankroll and tilt all factor more significantly than simply counting outs per se.
