Following their victory in Brazil, Venezuela will be full of confidence and should be able to continue that momentum at home. Under Batista, the team is performing well and has made significant strides in recent weeks. This is particularly true on defense, when they have had success stopping teams. They were fiercely competitive and only let up one goal despite losing to Colombia on the road. In contrast, Chile's 3-1 away loss against Uruguay was the result of a lopsided performance. They have a troubling run of away victories during which they have scored very little. Under 2.5 goals is what I'm forecasting for Venezuela vs. Chile.
