Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission files lawsuit against Tabcorp casino company

After opening online betting accounts, the young man accrued a debt of $11,200. In addition, he traveled around Melbourne for about $4,000. Due to his young age, the little child's name was withheld, but it is believed that he gambled between May 2022 and October 2023. This autistic child usually carried a scooter.

Following the discovery of the violations of the province's gambling laws, Tabcorp, the owner of the gaming establishments where the minor had placed illicit bets, was charged by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission, the state's gambling watchdog.
 
The VGCCC has filed lawsuits against Tabcorp casino company for the following reasons:
- Allowing minors to gamble
- Failing to supervise electronic betting terminals
- Failure to comply with directions related to a system outage
- Allowing a 16-year-old to gamble at their venues almost 30 times
