Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission fines bookmaker Mintbet $100,000

Bookmaker MintBet was fined $100,000 by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission in Australia for repeatedly violating their Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct.

The Commission discovered that, contrary to the code's requirements, MintBet continued to accept bets from the customer even though the customer had shown signs of distress that might have been related to problem gambling.

Only after the client formally acknowledged they were suffering losses as a result of their gaming did MintBet terminate their account.

This is significantly bad development from the company they should had complied with the rules of their and they should had allowed the player to take a break which they didn't and that is why a fine was imposed on them which they definitely should pay now so that they are able to learn lesson from their mistakes
