Virginia reports January casino revenue of $52.9 million.

Virginia's casinos, including Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Temporary Bristol, and Caesars Virginia, made a total of $52.9 million in January.

Most of the revenue came from slots, bringing in $37.9 million, while table games contributed $14.9 million. The state received $9.5 million in taxes from these casinos.

Plans for permanent casinos, like Caesars Virginia are underway, promising more jobs and entertainment options.
