This week, a woman was detained following allegations that she had stolen $500 from a hotel at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh.
The money is said to have been taken by her from the casino's Landing Hotel. Following the viewing of the surveillance footage capturing the theft, troopers recognized her as the suspect.
In addition, when law enforcement officers used a computer to run her name, they discovered that she had an outstanding warrant for non-appearance in court. On that count as well, she was charged.
