A Walthamstow nonprofit that works to prevent older adults from social isolation is ecstatic about receiving £19,283 in National Lottery funding today.
The UK-based Together Project, which creates programs to combat ageism and loneliness, says it will use these funds to support the continuation of its national program, Crafting Connections, for the next two years.
Future plans for the charity include starting more intergenerational programs to link more age groups in the UK.
