The World Series of Online Poker (WCOOP) returns this August with high-stakes tournaments. One event is the Super High Roller with a $100,000 buy-in and $5 million guaranteed prize pool. This is the costliest WCOOP ever and will attract top pros. The previous winner was Koray Aydin, defeating 49 opponents to earn $2.5 million. Aydin has a good chance to repeat but faces stiff competition from Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Justin Bonomo and Bryn Kenney. The Super High Roller starts on September 9th at 12PM Eastern. Players can register directly on PokerStars. Along with this event, WCOOP also includes a $25,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em game, a $5,200 six-handed event, and a $1,000 Sunday Million. WCOOP promises to be one of the biggest online poker tournaments this year.
