Weetslade councilman who won £286,000 in the lotto claims that money won't make him different.

Weetslade councilman swears he'll remain the same person despite winning over £286,000 in the Postcode Lottery.

Despite maintaining that he is still the same guy he always was and that the money wouldn't alter him, Coun Anthony McMullen, 33, claims he "still can't believe" he has won the windfall of £285,714. He will continue serving on the council and working as a software developer during the day.

Seaton Burn councilman McMullen said he will use the funds to pay off his mortgage and to improve his garden.

That's wonderful. Few people are not materialistic and not influenced by acquisition of wealth. But we only have few people who can consciously live normal life irrespective of their status. Congratulations to Anthony for winning such a huge money.
