My question is, should a Blackjack player split 10s when the dealer is showing a 6? In my experience even though splitting 10s is generally a good basic strategy, when the dealer is showing a 6 I tend to just hit the 10 rather than split. The reason is I think hitting a probable 20 is better than risking two hands that are possibly below 20. What do you think? Do you usually split 10s against a dealer's 6, hit, or just depends on the situation? I would love to hear from other players' experience on this particular scenario.
