Supporters of these machines claim that they are not gambling because they are not based on chance. However, opponents argue that they hurt state-authorized and legalized forms of gaming, and that they do not have oversight, regulation or safeguards for underage or problem gamblers. It should be noted that gray games are not typically found in casinos, as they are not legal forms of gambling in many states.
