Players often have different numbers of chips in their stacks. Smaller stacks play more carefully while bigger stacks can play more aggressively. Knowing stack sizes can help you make good decisions. Pay attention to stacks around you and note if they fall to certain common levels. Players with under 20 big blinds often only call or shove. Between 20 and 40 big blinds, players may start to make raises. Stacks over 100 big blinds may continue taking large parts of the pot. Stay alert to stack sizes and act accordingly.
