Certain number combinations seem to be deliberate avoided by many. 13 and 666 are obvious examples, viewed as ominous or unlucky. But what about other numbers like 42, 747, 100%, etc.? Do people tend to avoid home addresses, room numbers, orproduct model numbers that contain these combinations? Is this just superstition or is there real pattern to the numbers we choose to eschew or gravitate towards in daily life?

One example is 1-2-3-4-5-6, which is a popular sequence that people think of as being too easy to win. This combination has actually never been drawn in most major lotteries, but people still avoid it out of superstition.

I believe and think In some Asian countries, such as China, Japan, and Korea, the number 4 is associated with death due to its pronunciation being similar to the word for "death" in these languages.
