Suited connectors in poker refer to two consecutive cards of the same suit. For example, the cards "7 of hearts" and "8 of hearts" would be considered suited connectors.Suited connectors are considered to be a speculative hand in Texas Hold'em, as they have the potential to create strong straight and flush hands, but are also less likely to result in a strong hand than connected cards of different suits. Players may choose to play suited connectors in certain situations, such as when they are in late position and there has been little betting, or when they are seeking to complete a draw.
