Baccarat is a simple card game played between two hands: the Player and the Banker. The objective is to predict which hand will have a total closest to 9. Each hand is dealt two cards, and the values are calculated by adding the card numbers, with face cards and tens counting as zero, and aces as one. If the total exceeds 9, the second digit is used (e.g., a 7 and 8 becomes 5). Depending on the total of the first two cards, a third card may be drawn for either hand, following a set of specific rules. Players can bet on the Player hand, the Banker hand, or a Tie between them. The Banker hand has a slight advantage due to the drawing rules, but a 5% commission is taken from winnings on the Banker side. The game is straightforward, with the key decision being which hand to bet on.
