In American football, there are several different positions on a typical team. Here are the primary positions:

Quarterback (QB): The leader of the offense who receives the snap, makes decisions, and throws passes to the receivers or hands off the ball to the running back.

Running Back (RB): The primary ball carrier who runs with the ball and can also catch passes out of the backfield.

Wide Receiver (WR): Pass-catching specialists who run routes and catch passes thrown by the quarterback.

Tight End (TE): A versatile player who can both block and catch passes. They line up on the offensive line next to the tackles or split out wide like a receiver.

Offensive Tackle (OT): The offensive linemen who line up on the edges of the offensive line and protect the quarterback from the defensive rushers.

Offensive Guard (OG): The linemen who line up on the interior of the offensive line and block for the quarterback and running backs.

Do you know several football fans do not in anyway bother about the different positions allowed in football. Apart from defence, forward and back position, the objectives of all football spectators is to see their favorite team secure winnings.

American football? That is not my thing and I don't think I know anything about it. I can't bet on this kind of sports because I would tend to pick odds based on instincts than knowledge. I don't know any position in American football.
