Making it six victories in eight competitions is Novak Djokovic's goal. In the final of the first of two Adelaide International competitions taking place this month, he faces unseeded Sebastian Korda. Djokovic is the tournament's top seed and, as a result of Carlos Alcaraz's withdrawal, will likely start fourth at the 2018 Australian Open. Although he still faces certain challenges in the US, the issues that prevented him from playing in Australia last year have been rectified. Without losing a set, Djokovic advanced to the championship match in this competition. In the quarterfinals, he beat Denis Shapovalov, the seventh seed, and in the final four, he beat Daniil Medvedev, the third seed. The second round match he played was the hardest for him.
